What we do
Pavers are the surface most of a yard is judged on, because they are what people walk on, park on and sit around. We install driveways, entry walks, patios, pool decks and travertine surrounds, and we lay them as a single composed surface rather than as separate patches added over time.
How we build it
Almost every paver failure in this valley is a base failure, not a paver failure. So the work that matters happens before a single stone is placed: excavation to real depth, aggregate base compacted in lifts, a bedding layer screeded flat, then edge restraint around the whole perimeter so nothing migrates outward under load.
What to expect
A surface that stays level through summer expansion and monsoon runoff, with joints that hold. Individual pavers can be lifted and reset years later if you ever need access underneath, which is one of the quiet advantages pavers have over poured concrete.

Permits and HOA approval
Most residential paver work needs no permit. A driveway apron that meets the city right of way usually does, and we pull it. HOA communities almost always want the paver colour and pattern approved before we start, which we submit on your behalf.
Common questions
How long does a paver driveway take to install?
Most residential driveways run about one to two weeks from demolition to final compaction, depending on square footage and how much existing concrete has to come out. Larger estate frontages take longer. We give you a real schedule before we start rather than an optimistic one.
Will pavers sink or shift over time?
Not if the base is right. Settling almost always traces back to shallow excavation or a base that was never properly compacted. We dig to full depth, compact the aggregate in lifts, and install edge restraint around the entire perimeter, which is what keeps the field tight for the long run.
Are pavers better than concrete in Arizona?
For most applications, yes. Concrete slabs crack as the ground moves and heat cycles them, and a cracked slab is a replacement job. A paver field flexes with that movement instead of fracturing, and any single stone can be lifted and reset without touching the rest of the surface.
Can you match pavers to my existing hardscape?
Usually. We bring samples out and match colour, size and laying pattern against what is already on the property. If the original product has been discontinued we will show you the closest current equivalents and be straight with you about how near a match you are actually getting.
