Waddell is where the lots get bigger, and size changes the design problem completely. On a quarter acre you are composing a yard. On an acre or more you are composing a property, and the tools that work at the smaller scale simply disappear at the larger one. So the approach changes. We work in larger gestures. Long paver runs and drives that hold their line across a distance, walls and columns that give the property an edge and a sense of arrival, and planting massed in groups rather than dotted one at a time. The goal is a property that reads as intentional from the road and from every window, with the areas people actually use drawn tight and comfortable rather than lost in open ground.
Irrigation gets more serious at this scale as well. Longer runs mean pressure has to be planned rather than assumed, and zoning has to be genuinely thought through or you end up watering an acre to keep a dozen plants alive. We size the system to the property and lay it out so it can be extended later without starting over.
